1423024_90002980Since traveling down the coast of California, I’ve been lucky enough to try 20+ yoga studios and their teachers. After every class, I’m usually heard to say: “that was the best one so far…” Each class and each teacher has blessed me. Here is one that stands out:

Teacher and owner of Yoga Soup in Santa Barbara said, to para-pharase: “Let your body just BE. Let your body take off the weight of whatever concepts you use to define yourself. Concepts such as, funny teeth or rubbery elbows or beautiful feet are limiting your experience in the now.”  Allow your body to be free to be what it is. Because what your body is, is undefinable. The frameworks that we use to describe ourselves with, limit our chance to just be in our bodies. And we wonder why we can’t experience our bodies the way children do, free and in their skin.

Releasing these well-worn concepts of myself frees me up to be in the moment. The place I find myself in when I move my arm for no reason is an ecstatic experience or at the very least, a curious and new experience. This glorious moment is now… and now this one.

I invite you to do a little exercise: Think on your self-concepts… How do you define your body? Is it too thin here or too big here? Do you have a long nose or small ears? Now let these concepts fall down the drain because you cannot define your body or your instinctual and wild Self.  You are born to this moment. Now move your delicious body and feel how it feels!

Let your true and wild nature have a chance to experience this Life! The Yogis say FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real.

If Fear stops you from trying in this moment, remember it’s not your true reality.

There are thousands of ways to become your true self.

Keep attuning to your center

Choose this one moment to Live

Feel the freedom of your body’s movement

Love what you can and let the rest fall away

Congratulations on Being you & All the Best in 2013.

Thanks, Derek! It was a pleasure to meet you as well. I’m loving Acro Yoga and I can’t wait to do more of it. You have a great yoga community in OB. I’ll be back to teach at Namaste sometime in the next year!

“What makes the course unique is that one feels this knowledge in their bones. You feel a deep resonance of inner knowingness that has always been there but has never been acknowledged before.”
~Miranda, Edmonton AB

“It taught me how simple it is to go back to loving yourself, with many easy techniques that take just 5 seconds to center you in your body. I am still benefiting every day from the simple, practical ways of unfolding into your own grace and assertiveness.”

Me… so far

© Cloe AignerJust like my grandfather who told his stories from India, I love re-telling stories that help us to see and understand ourselves. I'm working on creating peace on the planet by working on both our inner and outer worlds. As Carl Jung put it: "As within, so without". Or as Maharishi said “If you accomplish something at the gross and sacrifice the subtle, what have you accomplished?”
I am a curious student, I enjoy constantly learning. I make mistakes and I think that makes me a better teacher. The insights and tools that I offer are like a roadmap for the grounded spiritual seeker. It is my intention to collaborate with you so that you generate your own questions to find clarity and understanding of your own experiences. Together, we'll keep it real with heart, humility, and laughter. Read More About my Journey...
